The expanding house
Home. The feeling of familiarity, security, comfort, and warmth. Yet some of these elements were missing when I stepped in. Familiar yet strange. Secure but mysterious. Warmth is yet cold and dark. Something was amiss. A flight of steps lay before me. Cold pale moonlight shone through a window at the top of the stairs, which through it lit each step before me. Every step taken downwards seems to sate the hunger for progression to the immediate completion of the task at hand, but yet the stairs seem unending. every step i took, the stairs below seem to expand and grow bigger and larger. the steps slowly expanded to become so huge that i had to leap down each step as in descended into darkness. then hallway at the bottom of the stairs which intially seem so normal at first grew before me to gigantic proportions. finally i tumbled down the last step of stairs into the huge hallways..
